A year ago I was able to reach within 20 lbs of my weight goal using diet alone (reduced calorie diet). For unrelated health reasons, I had to stop dieting and gained back 17 lbs of the 67 I had lost. I maintained at that weight though! Two weeks ago I decided to start twice weekly with a personal trainer. She’s been great and I’ve found I still have a lot of muscle memory from more than 20 years ago! Hopeful to build muscle, improve my metabolism, and lose fat!
