for the past two days I have been M.I.A.
sudden work shift took me away
then super yard work got me sweating
ice cream ingestion got me regretting.
So, the most important fact
if counting calories is out of whack
then calorie estimation will be inflated
and tummy won't be deflated
and depression will start to creep
'not worth it'birdies start to peep
I don't like this roller-coaster ride
Only on skis, I like to slide
I don't like this start, start and more re-starting
Mr. Discouragement and I are parting
I've opened the door and let him out
really, no room for me to pout
Won't tell myself "forget it, you blew it"
will adopt the 1988 Nike motto: JUST DO IT!!!
