I made something of a discovery last night, my jogging circuit was not just a little bit more than a quarter mile. It was a little bit less than a half mile. This will teach me to check my assumptions about distance. :)
The tool I used to verify it is pretty cool. Someone made a google map application called
Gmaps Pedometer. You just double click on each point and it calculates the distance between them and sums up the total distance.
On the other hand, I thought I was just running 3 miles per evening. It appears I've been pushing 5.5 miles in a little less than an hour. I guess I'm a little farther along than I thought. ;)
