I just want to thank everyone on here for sharing your journey with weight loss. Every morning I read through comments and am inspired by all of the positive notes and thoughts. It is uplifting and sometimes helps me to make a right decision with food. Moving along on my battle with weight.

I have been from a size 6 to a size 16 throughout my life. My closet looks like a store because of all the size changes. As I go down this time I plan on donating after each size change. I guess I don't want my fat clothes there for the future. This time I plan on sticking with being healthy.

Being heavy is so very depressing to me. I want to wake up and feel healthy each day. I want to fit in beautiful clothes without six layers of spanx. I want to be free from food controlling me. Thanks for reading my thoughts.

I have also battle with weight most of my life - for the last 6 months, after a doctor visit - I knew it was time once again to change my eating habits and get off the couch, just retired a year ago. I now walk daily at least 3 miles, and feel wonderfully, just eating healthy and taking one day at a time. I will pray for you to be strong each days so that food is not controlling you.

I have clothes of every size everywhere. In the closets, packed away in boxes, etc. The largest I have been is some size 20 pants, probably size 18 the most. I am in 16's now an some 14's. I already got rid of all the 20's, and the 18's are going away this week! I don't want them around anymore, cause I am not going back to them. Stay strong and good luck to you.

We can do this! I have been heavy all my life, except for 20 years ago....I lost 100 pounds, but gained it all back, plus more. 3 years ago, I weighed in at 335 and the 3x size was pretty darn tight. Jeans were size 28. Over the next 2 years, I lost 160 pounds. (I am 64.) I gained 20 back on vacation...disheartening how quickly old habits come back. I have 10 off........working to get the other 10 off because I know how easy it would be to gain it all back. One of the best things I did was give away any clothes as they became too big for me.
