What I know I won't give up. I won't give up wine, but I'll start drinking spritzers. I won't give up real butter but only use for the things I really love it on...like, popcorn, corn on the cob, boiled or steamed vegetables and of course toast. I won't give up dairy....love my milk, love my cheese, but I also love natural yogurt, greek style so will use that in place of sour cream. I'll only buy the cheese I really love. I've tried my favourite brand in the low calorie version and I was left dissatisfied... so I will buy and use the cheese I love, but I will keep within a reasonable calorie consumptive portion. I won't give up bread, but I will only eat it as a compliment to my meal, not as a meal itself. In other words I will use more tomato on a toasted tomato than I will of the bread...and I'll make them open face so it takes longer to eat and gives me the sensation of having had more, when I actually haven't. I won't give up salt, but again I will only use it on the foods it truly enhances. I won't use it when it's not necessary as some....well most foods I find don't actually need it. Most of all though. I won't give up on myself. It is me that I'm doing this for. Me, who wants to look and feel better. Me who wants to wear clothes I love and haven't been able to wear....me who wants to travel more and have the self esteem and confidence to do so....me, me, me. me me....I own it.
