No explaination for this 2 lb total weight increase, which is a 3.6 lb FAT increase with a LBM loss of 1.6 lbs (based on measurements and the Navy Standard BodyFat test... other than maybe I am retaining water from the mexican lunch I had today... perhaps it was salty? My body fat measurements went up slightly, even though I carried a deficit for the week. Feel thinner... look thinner... I did have a carb refeed day a couple days back, but even that was minimal, only carrying a 100 kcal or so surplus that day. Today still does not qualify for this weeks refeed though, as I still have a 739 kcal deficit. Perhaps I will eat a snack before bed.

Use the mirror , clothes, and tape measure. You know that is most accurate - the scale is the "Idiot Box"

Maybe you didn't get enough good sleep and your adrenals off-kilter? BUT, it sounds like all your actions are positive and in the long-run, positive actions invite positive results. Your scale numbers last week were better than you expected, so across the two-week period, you are doing good! Stick to your plan and you will do fine.

Unfortunately RF, I chose the NSBF test for the fitness contest I entered, so I have to stick with it until contest is over August 30. I did pull my start day photo and compared to yesterdays completion of week 7 photo... both at 200 lbs, but clearly evident that body fat is lower in yesterdays pic.

No worries I was just messing with you cause I am a retired Army guy. You are doing great I hope you win the contest.
