I admire all the people who joined the group to not check the scale! I can't sign up for that because I know I would NOT have the willpower yet to not check the scale everyday! Looking at it everyday actually helps me right now I think because it holds me accountable for what I eat and reaffirms what I'm doing wrong or right each day. I would love to not feel obligated to do that though!

I check it several times throughout the day. It helps me to see that our weight fluctuates.

I couldn't join that one either because I weigh everyday too even though I know I am not supposed to!

I do need to weigh myself every morning as well (sometimes even before bedtime too) and know that's it's not the best thing to do. But like Chris1979, it helps me keep track of my progress. However, I would love to be able to live without a scale, or at least forget about it for while. So I try to leave the city on weekends to relax and there is usually no scale where I go. Well, I noticed that it actually helped me maintain or lose weight. I guess I am so afraid of what the scale will say the next Monday that I am even more disciplined with the food I eat :)
