Since getting my new watch (Garmin) I’ve noticed my cals burned in FS has increased by about 1K/day. Did I miss a setting or something? My last watch was basically a pedometer so I’m a bit lost as to what is being tracked now. I don’t add anything to FS and my apps are synced to just let Apple health fill it in. Smart watch making me feel not so smart right now.. 🤣

I know that you can set your step stride on some devices but not sure on the Garmin. Supposedly then the calories burned are more accurate.

I have found FS counts calories you burn at a high rate. Now that it is getting your watch data it is using that and using its higher rate.
