@YogiRita I found your post incredibly inspiring because I also gained a lot of weight when my beloved father passed away. I’m really struggling with weight/fat loss at the moment even though I am on a weight training program. I’m not certain what eating plan to follow because I have been experimenting with different eating styles (IF, Keto, Caloric restriction and counting) and I’m still not 100% onboard with one plan. Could you please let me know what eating plan you followed in order to achieve these amazing results?

@YogiRita Thank you very much for your reply. I don’t have a positive mental attitude right now (despite trying very hard everyday) and I have been mildly obsessive regarding my daily and weekly calorie intake as well as trying to balance macros. It’s probably a useless bid to regain some measure of control in one aspect of my life but that’s probably why I feel like I’m failing. I just haven’t really been at it long enough to establish consistent results. There are so many opinions and options out there and due to information overload, I was trying to find the “perfect fit” eating/lifestyle that would encourage weight loss and overall health and well-being. I’ve used a few RDI calculators in order to establish what the proper deficit should be but I think I may have been too extreme. In summary, I have made an appointment with a dietitian next month and I trust that she will be able to better guide me through this minefield. Thank you for time 🌼
