Well, I posted a recipe that is pending, and I forgot to include the 1 tbs of olive oil I used to saute some ingredients. This throws off the nutritional information given here. I'm not used to this site yet.

I did do this recipe in nutritionaldata.self.com and that analysis gave 54 calories per 1/2 cup.

This recipe has no salt, and no added sugar. The sweetness comes from the apple, onion and red bellpepper.

We just had barbecued beef ribs that my husband brought home, and since the barbecue style was a dryer spicy style, I'm hoping I'm okay with calories for today. I ate about 1 1/2 cups of the cabbage, and it was delicious with the beef ribs.

This is good with hotdogs/sausages on warmed corn tortillas instead of bread buns. The tortillas are about 55 calories per tortilla. You can add chopped tomato and skip all the mayo and salty condiments.
