I definitely need a food diary. I was raised in a house where you eat everything on your plate and not to waste food. As a mother, that has meant that I've usually eaten what the children have left behind. Thinking about having to enter it into this app stopped me from eating the half a pancake with hazelnut spread on it just because it was left behind. I'm not hungry - I would have just eaten it so not to 'waste' it. Now I'm making the choice not to 'waist' it.
