Dear Buddies!
I am well, and trying to stay healthy emotionally! I find stressing over issues that I have no control over, is just a waste of time and effort! :) Right now, I am just resting in God's arm's under his wings, waiting for his directions! His ways, his will, circumvents my will and my ways.
Over the years, I have found that God's ways are always perfect! I know that the Lord is Divine, and He has my best interest at heart. Why am I talking like this? Because I know in my heart that while I am struggling watching my daughter in the hospital, and also struggling with putting my mom in a rest home, (yes) it can be so very tough on me...unless I lean on God, and "not my own understanding") Yes, I can do this diet, healthy eating with God's help! I also know I can't do this without my loving Father's help. I have tried to make decisions on my own many times, and all I do is make a mess out of everything! :)
I sit here writing this to you, my Faith buddies in peace, and calmness, because God told me that he has all my problems! PTL
My Savior is Awesome, all powerful, and he will get me through all of this! Yes He will

hi ann, thx for being my buddy. your entries are encouraging to me. like you I'm injured. I fractured my toe and really didn't do much of anything for about six wks. in hope of it healing. I think that period of time really affected my body more that I realized so it has become a slow healing process. The good news is that I think I am finally turning the corner. I have to build up my endurance so burning calories is on the back burner.
I really need to reduce my caloric intake but of course that is the ongoing struggle.
pls. keep me in your prayers and I will pray for you as well.
I really just wanted to tell you to keep the faith.

Good Morning Ann,
I just read your post. I'm so sorry to hear your daughter is in the hospital.I have gone to our Lord in prayer asking him to heal her and comfort your heart. Praying for you for our Lords comfort in knowing what to do about your Mom. Life is hard and sometimes we just don't understand why things happen the way they do. People say God does not give us more than we can bear sometimes it just feels unbearable but our Lord is always by our side to carry us through the hard times. Please keep us posted on how you are doing.

Dearest Ann, I completely understand what you are going through. I too have a daughter who is sick with a life threatening illness and is in and out of the hospital all the time...and its hurts so bad to watch her suffer. And my mother is in a nursing home since her stroke 7 yrs ago. If you ever need to talk or just want to vent please contact me...I wish you peace this day..I know God will give you the right answers..they may not be what we want to hear but they will be the best ones for our loved ones. Ann, I am sorry you are having to walk this road. I will pray that you find peace and that your daughter gets feeling better. Having to put a loved on in a rest home is hard. My Gram is 92 and is in assisted living but doing great. I will pray that happens for your mom also.

Ann sorry to hear about your family. It is hard to make decisions for you MOM. Been there. hope your daughter does OK. Take care of you though so you can be there for them ..
