Goal update!
Monday- Jump rope/Maui Thai with boyfriend Tuesday- Maui Thai class from 7:15-9:45 pm Wednesday- Hitting the bag at home-jump rope-walk dogs
So on Monday, I was too tired to do cardio boot camp (going back to low carb makes me so tired) So my boyfriend hung up out punching bag under the deck. It was beautiful Monday, so we both jump roped and trained with each other. I wanted to work more on my fighting techniques. We did this for 3 hours or so
Tuesday was so hard yet fun. I had to spar 3 different guys for 3-5 min rounds each. Then we grabbed a partner and started working on fighting techniques and combos. Oh my god...holding the pads for a guy to punch and kick is such a crazy arm workout...
Today: I am so sore...not sure if I want to do cardio kick boxing. I am starting to prefer to train at home with my boyfriend on our bag and jump rope for 30min at home. I feel practicing the techniques at home is more beneficial than going to a kick boxing class.
I also hit a new goal yesterday. As we were stretching in class. We went into a split. My split isn't at its max yet...but I was able to split wider and put my cheek on the mat!!!!!! I haven't been this flexible since 6th grade!!!!!!!!!! I was so happy during class that I was able to get this flexible I was smiling like a dope during the whole stretch routine!!!!!
So I am going hard...however I just need to get the last bit of the Left over easter pies/deserts .. my boyfriend and I shared the last piece of apple pie last night as a treat. I am just very happy all the easter candy that was given to us isn't any I actually like (I am very picky with the chocolate brands I eat) So I know I wont be tempted to eat that. There is half of the paleo cheesecake I made for Easter...atleast it is grain free and paleo.. I might cut it up and freeze it...id hate to throw away half of an organic paleo cheesecake. SO freeze it for the future. I need to do that ASAP before it goes bad. I think I have to taste test it again today to make sure it isn't already bad

You are doing awesome keep up the hard work. I know I jump rope too and it is a no joke cardio workout. If working out at home works better for you to then do that.

The beginning of every Maui Thai class is 30min of jump rope..my goal is to do it all without stopping for a break. But on my off days from class which is Monday-Wednesday-Friday-Sunday ...I can't always make Saturday class. I have the option to do the cardio kick boxing classes ..which is an AMAZING cardio workout, but I rather do a workout while practicing my MMA techniques.. I do want to start taking some of the cardio kick boxing specially on bad weather days where I cannot use my heavy bag outside

You really just need to find what works best for you if it is a combo of class and home workouts go for it then main thing is just keep showing up and doing it :)

Jumping rope for 30 minutes would kill me! I avoid too much impact...great routine!

It isn't easy jumping rope 30mins...I am huffing and puffing. But the guys I train with that are 45 years old or so do it without issues..they do it as if they were walking..its incredible. I like jumprope because it doesn't hurt my knees like running. Also you get a very similar workout.
@ Glen THanks!!!! I try to keep busy..it keeps my mind off food when I workout. I hopefully will see a learner version of myself in a few months...I don't want to go through another summer trying to hide my body
