This is going to be hard. I fractured a tooth which has been provisionally stabilised and will be fixed in three weeks. I can't chew properly, only very soft food. So no more salads or apples. I am actually scared of eating! :( Will stock up on yogurt, veggies for soup, hummus and cream. Any suggestions welcome. On the bright side I am really enjoying my exercise and my body feels much healthier, slimmer and more toned. And people have noticed! Hopefully should see some results on the scales soon too.

Fab news about the exercise..... :-( about the tooth. Bananas, strawberriies, etc are soft. You could whizz them into a puree and put them in your yoghurt. Cous cous wouldn't be too bad with very, very finely chopped cooked ,veg, or a jacket potato that has been oven cooked so it is floury - with melted cheese or canned tuna mixed with light Mayo (not sure if you eat fish). Mashed cauliflower with cheese or flavourings. If you like tomato, I often do a soup with chopped tinned tomatoes and a stock cube - I fry onion until soft, then add tomatoes and stock cube and seaoning and just heat up. On the plus side, soup / food that has been blended stays in your stomach longer, so you feel fuller for longer - they had a tv programme on a couple of months ago that went into all that sort of stuff - they had two groups one eat a normal roast dinner, the other group ate the same dinner but blended. After a few hours they xrayed their stomachs. The group that ate the blended meal still had part of it in their stomachs so didn't feel hungry -
weird! Hope you get on ok and get your tooth sorted soon

Thanks Skinny, all very useful suggestions. And I have noticed feeling fuller after my meals, probably because I just swallow everything down and it doesn't get pre-digested in my mouth. Also eating extremely slowly. I will puree all fruit and drink more shakes. Instead of salad I will have soup with a bit of cream or cheese. I might invent a whole new diet!

Sorry to hear about the tooth. Congrats on having people notice your weight loss.
Maybe protein shakes or smoothies will help you get your macronutrients, but Skinny has it covered I think. Hope you feel better soon.
