My daughter made Sweet Potato Chili and sent me over a couple bowls of it today. It was very good, but it was spiiicy! Had to eat seven saltine crackers in one cup of it to tone it down. Then, when I was done, my mouth was still burning, so I had another three crackers with butter on them! Calories only 368, but that's 58 more calories than I usually have in my butter bean dinner.
Tomorrow, I make Chinese Casserole for our lunches for the next three days. Forgot to get celery at the store the other day, ugh. I hate making a special trip for just one item! It is what it is. The store is only 3 miles away, so I shouldn't be complaining.
HEY, I think that chili is going to stimulate some bowel activity, PTL! Guess I better "go," LOL.
