Redporchlady thanks for the support I'm not going to lie I'm feeling kinda dumb I posted this at all now. Im not going to get the all you can eat option because I know like you said I'll want to get my money's worth. It's purposely been a super low cal day so far (800) with no snacking at all. I'm going into the meal with a minimum of 1700 calories before I would even hit a conservative maintenance for the day. My macros will be way fat heavy but it's just one day. Looking forward to a nice dinner out with the family with old habits kept at bay.

Turning my doom and gloom post around to positives ... been in around a 500 calorie deficit for 11 of the last 13 days and can already see a noticeable difference in my face chest and lower belly with the lower abs starting to see the light of day again. I was worried that going Into a deficit again would have serious impacts on my strength training but overall it has not been and issue and I have still been progressing. I added another 5 lbs to my bench press working weight sets last night along with busting out 4 sets of squats 135 ×10 , 185 x10 , 185. X 10 and 200 x10 next leg day I'm going to try to to squat 245 or 250 can't decided yet. I was able to do multiple reps at 225 on Saturday and a 1 repmax calculator claims I can do 266 but I think that is pushing it.

I don’t go to all you can eat restaurants because they become way to expensive for what I eat, but after seeing what other people eat “to get thier monies worth” I don’t know how they stay in business.

Well I guess I really have changed... I ate an appropriate amount of food no all you can shovel in meat coma. I normally eat very low fat with no added oil or butter ever so this was like added fats overload tonight even with an appropriate portion.

I think it is a great post! We all have hurdles, triumphs and roadblocks so it is nice seeing everyone's comments. I also think it is great that you were able to be in a 500 calorie deficit for 11 days. I know when I have been in a calorie deficit my trainer will ask me how I am feeling and if I am feeling lethargic, so it made me think about how it affects us. The reason I follow others and comment is to learn or find solutions for when I am encountering a situation that may put me off track. Keep posting!!
