This is my first post. I see everyone sharing their stories and was inspired. I got weighed at the doctor August 10 and weighed 304.8 lbs. I decided it was time to do something. I started weighing all my food and logging using FS a few days later. Today, I weighed in at 269.8 lbs. I don’t remember the last time I was under 270 lbs. My ultimate goal is 180lbs. I know it will be a long hard journey. Thank you all for sharing your success, as well as your struggles.

A little bit of all three. I’m eating balanced meals, with portion control, while trying to stay around 1200-1300 calories. I am especially watching fat intake. No red meat for a month and a half.

That's awesome. I am being very careful with portion control and trying to pay attention to mindful eating, Am I hungry? Can I eat just a little and be satisfied?, Am I hungry or really just thirsty? That kind of thinking.
