When my steps are low (desk job) and I don't exercise I'm on 1500 and when I exercise 3 times a week I do 1800. I'm 1.64 tall and 57kg. Getting your NEAT up helps you increase your daily cals.

It's more dependent on your activity level and current weight than age xx

I eat around 2000 calories a day. I can eat this much cause my daily expenditure for calories is around 2300 to 2500. So I still stay in a deficit and loose weight gradually. Took a while to build up to this though. I also do resistance training 4 times a week. As more muscle burns more calories. 🙂

Thanks all for participating!! All the feedback inspires me to keep going :) also for those who mentioned activity, I try to hit 2000 calories expenditure a day by either jogging, workout or by taking 10 000 steps *

I’m 32, 1.8m height and 67kgs. BMR is 1500 so calorie deficit brings me to a 1000. Exercise calories should be excluded from daily calorie calculations
