mountainman2 you got that right buddy!!! nothing like knowing where your food comes from and being the only one to handle it from start to finish whether it's meat or vegetables from the garden I love being responsible for them from start to finish. you take it to a whole different level you are living the dream my friend well my dream at least 😄

ginomenot 100 percent sure haven't done this type of jerky in this smoker. last few years I ground all the meat up and stuffed it in to casings to make snack sticks

sk.17 thanks. thus is a master built electric smoker with the side box that gives you. about 4 -6 hours worth of chips well worth the extra money for the side box.
