Time to MOVE Tuesday! Seriously, we've all got to start somewhere ~ and adding more NEAT activities to our day may be just the way to get going on a more active lifestyle! I know I feel better when I am less sedentary...no doubt about it! And once I'm up & moving, it's fairly easy to keep the momentum going and add another task, and then another! Even something simple, like putting the laundry away can be made a tiny bit more calorie burning. Instead of piling the folded laundry into 1 big basket to distribute, maybe try dividing it up and making separate trips from the laundry room to each room with the folded items (not piece by piece, unless you REALLY want to challenge yourself!) I used to try to SAVE extra trips...now I try to think of ways to MAKE extra trips🚶🏻♀️ Of course, I'm retired and have the luxury of more time on my hands, but even my busier FS friends can park a little farther from the store entrance, or walk a few extra aisles at the grocery store (go exploring!) In any case, those of us who may be challenged by incorporating an actual 'exercise routine' could benefit from just adding a few simple tasks each day. It all ADDS UP!! WTG Cupcake_D👏👏 That means you burned MANY extra calories💯 I've been keeping track on my Smart watch of the calories burned while doing NEAT tasks (I clock it as 'other workout') and it truly DOES add up👍💙
