You may need to change what you are eating if you are gaining. Are you tracking all your food honestly? Are you drinking water to flush out sodium and keep things moving? Are you getting enough lean protein, lean dairy, fruits and vegetables? Lean protein and high fiber foods help us lose fat better than any other food groups. Are you getting some good fat? Fat has been shown to help with weight loss. (avocados, peanut butter, live oil). Are you eating too many processed foods? Sometimes WHAT we eat is as important as HOW MUCH. Are you eyeballing your portions or do you measure your food? Measuring cups, spoons and a food scale are great tools. Studies show we tend to eat 30% more food than we think we do when we don't track. Are you eating the right amount of calories to help you lose? You may need to play around with them. Are you being consistent? Going on and off plan will cause you to go up and down pounds. You need to take stock in whatever you are doing. Working out is great, but diet is what helps us lose though pounds. So re-evaluate and then re-motivate.
