All right back to the beginning!!!
I originally started at 197.8 lbs in Feb of 2010 and was able to lose 18 lbs well now a little over a year later I'm slowly starting to creep back up to that original weight again. I really need to lose weight but I am a little concerned about not eating fruit but I know that Atkins works for me as I am a carb junking and I will be the first to admit it. I have made a concious effort to say no to the carbs for the next 2 weeks to see if I can get the fat bloaty feeling to go away. My kids and my husband got me a tablet for Mother's Day and I intend to use that to help me stay focused. I also know that I need to start excercising again and refocusing my attention on my goal. I really want to be 140 lbs and that will be a 49 pound weight loss that could pose to be a problem for me at times. I have seen others be able to do this and I know that I can do this as well as long as I put my mind to it and start focusing on what I need to do and try my best.

Hi JackieS! You can do it!!! I once weighed around 120's-130's until I was about 37. Then did the Yo Yo thing w/low fat or low calorie dieting. I would loose about 16 lbs then would stall unless I continually increasing exercise dramatically. I would loose then get craving again and gain above what I began with. I began Atkins Feb 10, 2011 and it is working for me. First lifestyle diet change that I have been able to follow without feeling deprived and hungry. Happpy Lost Lbs to YOU!

Thanks Moondove :) I know I can do this I jsut need to train my mind again to be able to be ok with out having things that everyone else does. I need to focus on me and not on making sure that they are all satisfied - they are all old enough to make decisions - I'm just ready for it. I am at the first stages of empty nest syndrome as well as feeling guilty for being over weight. I will make with there support and the support of everyone here :)
