Happy Weekend!! 🌷😊

I'm wonderin how many of us woke up hurtin with back pain this morning (like me😣)? It can be so frustrating to want to get 'fit' when we can barely get around the house!

I found these simple weight bearing exercises & tips that I'm gonna start to incorporate into my daily routine. I think I'll screen shot the first graphic and use it for my laptop screen saver and every time I pass by the screen, I'll choose one of the exercises to do 10 reps. It's not much, but I'm hopin that if I'm consistent, I will start to feel a difference.

At my age, with all my chronic disease, I need to find ways to 'move' more (safely) throughout the day. Maybe this will help.....

At any rate, it's interesting information, right? 🤷‍♀️😎

@Kenna...oh, I wish it was only L4-L5 issues...but my spine is fusing itself from my neck to my sacrum (PsA, Spondylitis, DDD, etc) I've broken my tailbone at least twice (I'm an overachiever🤷‍♀️) with osteopenia/osteoporosis (different sites) leading to mobility/gait problems. I've been focusing on losing the extra weight and strengthening my core muscles for over a year now kuz I know how important that is! I am SUPER thankful to still be ambulatory though and I have my walker, trekking poles & scooters to fall back on (so to speak...) Life is good and I have MUCH to be grateful for!! 🌷🌞🌷

Oh Crystal I am so sorry. Keep up your good work and especially using your computer skills to make the wonderful visuals you post. I think it has really made an I,pact for many people.

@CrystalJo You're amongst friends, whine away ;) Honestly, we all have our days and struggles here. I haven't been here very long but I can already see that others here understand an are genuinely empathetic. Yes, heating pad and maybe Ibuprofen if your stomach can tolerate it. Sending a hug to you as well :)

I do not know what to say - everyone already said everything - those are good exercises that I will also try to incorporate in some way - even one would be good because I do not exercise - at all. You have encouraged me to try - I am sorry to hear that you are in pain - of all of the people on FS - I dislike having to think about you in pain - You are such a positive and encouraging supportive individual to so many people - and Yes you are - you touch so many others with such gentle and caring words each day - I wish that all of your pain would stop Crystal Jo. I really do!
