Soooo I haven’t been posting much or logging my food lately and I always do better when I do. I’ve had a cold for the last week and sinus problems / headaches that have kept me feeling pretty bad and off my game. I gained a pound but that’s not awful considering. I wanted to used this time to get in better shape before summer. Hoping it will all clear up soon so I can be more active in all aspects. Sucks not feeling healthy. Hope all you FatSecreters are doing better than I am and remembering that anything’s possible if you try.

I weigh more than last entry. Too hard on myself to enter it but in this week I’ve lost three pounds. Too many to loose before I enter again but just took a long walk over a mile and feel better everyday. Being 67 is hard to budge that fat but doing it and so hope I can get back to the 140’s Soon!!

Good for you! Enjoy your walks. I haven’t been able to exercise as much as I like since I prefer being outdoors and the weather hasn’t been great lately. I did take a walk in the rain today though. My weights plateaued again and I need to start doing better. We’ll get there, good luck!

I just randomly discovered you and wanted to welcome you even though you've been here for awhile and made progress getting your weight down! The nice weather will be here soon, don't worry. I get SADs during the darker months and live near Seattle, so all the rain keeps us indoors longer... Mood changes with the seasons and the sun is on the way! I've just scrolled through your posts and I've gotta say, your food looks so delicious! As far as exercise, outdoor stuff is only really viable for half the year (depending where you live), so get creative and find some indoor training you can do when the days are dark and cold. You aren't alone here - I know from personal experience, a little push and encouragement will get the ball rolling and the momentum will be all on you. You can do it and there're a ton of wise old owls here... Ask questions; get answers! We all love talking about strategies and food, so jump in wherever something interests you and good luck!

Thanks for the encouragement! I’ve still been kinda slacking lately since life’s been more hectic then usual but I’m at least keeping the weight off. I do enjoy lifting weights and do that when I can’t get outside. Diets the same watching portions, mostly meats and veggies. Not enough hours in the day man but I gotta make the time.
