Time to switch up the activities if possible. I was taught that if your body continues to do the same thing over and over your weight loss will slow. If your body does something different, then it requires burning extra calories for your body to do new stuff.

You are right Buttercup, your body strives to be efficient in order to conserve calories. The more repetitive your activity is the more efficient your body becomes at that activity. Shaking things up really does help.

Great point! I should be adding more activity to my days anyway. Do you shake up your eating/calorie allowance as well?

No, not really. For the most part I stay pretty close to what I know I should be eating, especially on just routine, average days when nothing is going on— and I am not a snacker. Then on days that special events are happening I can eat what is being served or something on a restaurant’s menu that I haven’t had for a while. I’m lucky I guess in that I cannot tolerate that super full, bloated feeling, so that helps. I mastered the concept of portion control a very long time ago so it is second nature to me now.
