Sleep😴 is my defense when I'm fleeing hunger pangs, for me I'm not actually hungry tho just having an intense craving. I never awake hungy, and if I was due to work late that night I just set my alarm for 2 or 3am instead of staying up to midnight. Wishing you the very best💪🏾🥗.

Drink hot tea or bouillon (careful w/ the salt) of find something to DO and distract myself from thinking about food. For example, clean out the space under the bathroom sink, or organize a shelf or two in the linen closet. 😁

I either eat- if I am seriously hungry- and cut the calories back the next few days or I have something low cal with a big glass of water. Sometimes 3 saltines and a 5 calorie sugar free jello- less than 50 calories- just to feel something is being digested.

What about cucumbers and celery with lime and salt?

Lol I’m with you on this cut. What makes matters worse is I think my sense of smell heightened, so that makes everything smell so much better 🤤

Hi Kate! Fabulous effort! May I ask you some questions?
What's your current macro breakdown?
How much protein are you eating?
Also, who/how did you come up with your current calories? I will be honest, your calories are quite low. If you bumped up an extra 100-150 calories (possibly even 200), you may have better adherence over time - and that's how you achieve your goals.
But, to answer your question, I eat an apple and a low-fat string cheese. Protein, fat, carbs, all less than a 100 calories. Progress, not perfection. Blessings.

I would buy the baby cucumbers and slice them into a bowl. You can eat a couple of them for hardly any calories at all, and it gives you some crunch like a snack.

Since satiety involves the brain's satiety center, I personally recommend that you "chew more" with every meal from here on out.
The more you chew, the more your satiety center will be stimulated and you will feel fuller.

I fast a couple times a month and found that when I get hungry it's only for about 30 to 60 minutes before it goes away; take a walk or do something to distract yourself meanwhile?
Also, a lot of people swear by drinking a tall glass of water with a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar to stave off hunger 🤷♀️
And if none of that does the trick, eat something you don't have to feel bad about. If you run into this problem a lot, maybe consider upping your daily calories for now.
If you're just starting out, you should eat the most amount of calories while still loosing weight anyway. Eventually your metabolism is going to adjust to the lower weight and you will no longer lose, that's when you'll have the room to cut.
Good luck!

I will eat a small amount of cheese a half ounce or have a tsp of peanut butter. The combination of protein and fat quiets my hunger. I also try hot tea first since it has no calories.

When I am hungry - I eat food. That always works for me - Increase your protein level aids in decreasing your hunger hormones...eat a boiled egg and drink some water and wait ---- increase your proteins - it takes a couple of days. Cheese & peanut butter is great - try to stay away from sweet tastes.

How about half a tin of tuna on two saltine crackers with some salt and pepper - and a glass of water or cup of tea - yep that is right! That should fill you up!
