I hope this is not inappropriate to ask, but I was wondering if other dieters are using the toilet a lot less. I am & it does concern me. Does that mean I am not eating enough? I have a high fibre diet with heaps of vegetables (I am vegetarian).

I'm a pescatarian. I go either every day or second day or sometimes twice a day depending on the food (ie curry, spices). Coffee first thing in the morning somehow works and gets my bowels moving. Exercise such as walking also helps to get things moving. I drink plenty of water and rarely drink diet soft drinks. I discovered breads don't digest well in my system so I limit 2 slices a day.

Thanks TreesLaugh. It sounds like you are doing the right stuff. But I drink lots of water, also have a morning coffee & I exercise a lot. It does not make sense for me.

☝Ahh but have you tried spicy indian curry??? 🤣
I do have a second coffee in the morning. Make sure your vegetables are raw or slightly cooked (still have crunch, bright coloured with texture)
Maybe try adding bran or oats to your cereals. Stay away from white bread.
If you like licorice or fresh figs, prunes that helps too. If constipated for more than 4 days I would seek medical help or use a herbal laxative. Hope you solve this soon.🥰

are you drinking enough water? or are you talking about number 2? lol if it's number 2 my partner said he goes only once a day now that he is eating better and more vegetables

yes it's normal especially when first starting out. if it continues and you arent going once a day I would increase your food intake slightly. eating too little will force your body into starvation mode anyway and you won't lose any weight.

drinking water with lemon is good to drink first thing in the morning, I read that's how you lose weight try it on a empty stoach with warm water I lost 25 kilos in 4 months it does work. Eating every 2 hours 6 small meals a day also helps you not to binge.with 6-8 glasses of water a day. best to eat when you are not hungry, you will find you won't eat as much. I hope this helps
