LM - Anderson's are where you start the squat at the bottom and go up. I set my safeties to where I would be at the bottom of my squat. I unrack the bar, squat down and let the bar rest on the safeties. Then, it's up and back down with a slight rest again at the bottom. I usually will count to '1' when the bar hits the safeties. And I stay tight, but let the weight sit on the rests.
