I am so happy I lost a pound my first day. Makes me feel so positive and reinforced by the scale, which doesn't lie. I know in the beginning when I start a new diet I tend to lose a lot in the beginning, and then I taper into a plateau. I know my body and I know what I'm in for. I have almost normal size legs and butt, a huge stomach, small boobs and big arms. I will lose weight in my lower body and my stomach will not budge for weeks. It is the bane of my existence. People think I'm pregnant all the time. It hardly embarasses me any more, I know I have a huge belly and it does look like I'm pregnant. How I would love to lose enough weight for those comments to stop. I'm 49, I'm not going to be having a baby! I can't wait to lose this belly. A flat stomach is a dream right now.
