Starting a new diet challenge. I've started many different fad diets as well as well known diets that are "known to work". However, my problem is not the diet and jumping on board with the requirements of the diet. My challenge is staying on board with the plan.
Most recently I was able to lose 10 pounds doing a low carb diet. Who doesn't lose weight when they stop eating sugar, bread, fruit, and all things delicious? Well, I lost the weight and found it as soon as I found my first slice of bread. Rather than go through another yo-yo of losing and gaining, I decided to try to make some serious changes that I hope to be sustainable. By doing this diet in a public arena I am hoping for more accountability and therefore more follow through.
I am doing the 10lb in 10 week challenge with 2 wonderful women in my family: Mom and Sheila (sis). Along with some other amazing ladies (hopefully, as they have yet to sign up). I am slightly discouraged by their tardiness, but understand that weightloss is a personal thing to some, however publicity will helpfully keep me true to myself and to the diet.
Let's see where this new challenge takes us! Ready set: challenge begins now!
