Starting a new journey. Started the Bariatric program at UHN. Started watching what I eat, measuring everything and working on getting in 3 meals a day. I usually only eat one meal at dinner because of our work schedule as we don't have set times as it is impossible.

Drinking at least 50 to 60 ounces of water or green tea. Trying to kick the coffee with cream and sweetener habit. It's not easy, but I am working on it.

Being mindful when I eat, counting the number of times I chew. That is making a big difference.

It's small steps, but the more changes I make now, the better it will be for me when it's time for surgery.

I know I can't do it alone...been trying for years and failing. This time...it is going to be different.
