I am sorry, but Atkins is not the way to go. Think about the concept of Ketosis. Our bodies are supposed to use fat for energy while in ketosis. If you take in a bunch of fat with what you are eating, our bodies will burn that fat first and thus leave our unwanted body fat alone. So the short of it, you don't want alot of fat. I am on Ideal Protein and have lost 65 lbs in 8 weeks.. I tried Atkins, this is better.

I hope you feel better Kristy. And I disagree with SlaveLakers concept of ketosis but I am just gonna leave it at that. Hoping you feel better tomorrow and keep up the good work.

Thanks and I also disagree with SlaveLaker. I lost a 152 lbs 10 years ago doing this samething and kept it all off but 20 lbs, Never heard of Ideal Protein, but it sounds like a high protein diet and that can be very damaging to your organs. I guess we all have to do what works for us and this works for me...=)
