Hurray for me!

I'd been offered a Research Assistant job with the Professor under whom I'd been a grader, and, upong having e-mailed her my acceptance, I didn't hear back from her for a week (and the position was to start soon). I'd been feeling rather dejected for the last few days, but I decided to pursue the issue and so I dropped by her office after this morning's yoga class and to my dismay, she wasn't there. So, as a last ditch effort, I e-mail her once more asking for a follow up.

Turns out that she'd been in such a rush when she received my last e-mail that she only read the top half (which was discussing grades) and had not seen my acceptance at the bottom! She e-mailed be back thrilled that I'd agreed!

Yay for me!

The leson of this story is take action, only good things can come of it. This boost in confidence will do wonders for my diet today and int he days to come!
