Happy 6-months smoke-free to me! I think this is it. I am done with it for life. Haven't had any cravings really.

But in not-so-good news, I went on a little Easter candy binge yesterday afternoon. I needed a break from the office, so I walked down the hill and bought candy for some stupid reason. I wasn't hungry or anything. Feeling so gross about it and never ever want to do that again. It seems that I only eat well on days that I work out. I guess that means I should work out every day, huh?

Keeping this journal has brought one thing to light. While yesterday's candy binge was indeed disgusting, I haven't done that in a really long time. And, crazily, it used to be a regular thing for me. If I bought a ten pack (or two) of funsize candy bars because they were on sale at rite aid, I would eat one and then another and before I knew it all ten (or twenty!) were gone in one sitting. What was I doing? You really have to dislike yourself to treat your body that way. It's poison, I say!

So basically, there's been progress, but still a long way to go to change my brain. All the cigarette poison is out of my life. Need to focus on the sugar now. I welcome any tips, besides "just don't do it, idiot" since I know that one already and it doesn't seem to work for me.
