Any other 3rd shift workers here that have found a system that works? Right now I am waking up for 'breakfast' even though it's actually the dinner my husband cooks. I eat throughout the night at work, which is a bad habit I'm trying to break(it's always junk), and then I come home and have 'dinner' before bed, which is typically also junk. I planned out my schedule for the entire week on here this week to make sure I was going to hit at least a minimum of roughly 1400 a day with the diet I am trying right now.
As a night shift worker, do you eat dinner for dinner, or do you eat breakfast for dinner? And do you fast at work, or do choose a healthy snack to nibble on throughout the night? This is typically a lose-lose situation for me. If I bring a healthy snack, my tummy grumbles for more all night long and it's all I can think about. But if I don't eat anything at all, I go home and turn into a human garbage disposal.
There's got to be a middle ground!
