Ok, it is time to set some goals...
In the past I have made my rewards food oriented. A fried meal or favorite dessert or Velveeta mac n' cheese.
When the nutritionist recommended non-food rewards, I got upset. I felt like she was telling me I was doing something wrong. And food is much cheaper than the alternatives she suggested like new clothes, a trip out of town or spa day. Plus, I don't have time for those things.
But it is time to make time and spend money on me. I keep being tempted to buy every massage Groupon or Living Social deal I get... exercise leave me so sore and they are usually so expensive. I am a student, so spending even $35 on a non-essential item is a big deal for me... that's more than a week of groceries! So to be cheap and still set a non-food goal, I am going to allow myself to buy a discount (or sale item) when I hit my next landmark.
136 - Knee High Boots 133 - 1-hour massage 130 - Crocs Dress Flats 127 - Spa Facial 124 - Bikini Swim Suit
One month maintained - Obento Box and Bag
This is going to take me a long time, but I really like the idea of getting new things, so maybe these little goals will help me get there by summer!
