Went to the gym yesterday. I didn’t have a lot of time so I just ran/walked on the treadmill for 30-45 minutes. The cookies I made were great but I had like 3 and my test in Business Law came out good, better than I expected which is always nice. I did do some crunches last night before bed though. Oh and I had a two drinks last night but they were just little shooters and didn’t have much alcohol in them at all, although they did have sweetened lime juice. Not a good thing but very tasty.
Today, my uncle and his family were leaving to go home and I made a very large southern breakfast. Homemade biscuits, ham, hashbrowns, grits, scrambled eggs and bacon. It took awhile but it was all standing work so I think it was okay as I only had about ½ cup of hashbrowns, a piece of bacon and a biscuit with butter. That wasn’t so bad until I ate 2 snickers funsize bars and a Reese cup. Workout-wise today, I started with some stretches, then started doing some front kicks, then some sidekicks then some squats. I did some other stuff but I don’t remember what. You know, just having fun with it. After that, I was nice and warmed up so I decided to go and play around with my punching bag for a little while. Yes, I own my own punching bag but I don’t have the right gloves for it so I haven’t been motivated to really workout with it for awhile now. I wrapped my hands and put on my flimsy gloves and went at it for awhile. Definitely got my heart rate up as I alternated with kicks and punch combinations. After that I was inside then I went for a walk late in the afternoon. I did jog some but mostly walked. I did however thoroughly enjoy those 2 miles. It was a little cool because the sun was starting to go behind the trees but my music was good and I was really pumped up from my earlier workout. I have plans to do some more floor exercises tonight, crunches definitely and maybe some pushups. I haven’t decided yet. In fact just writing about it makes me what to get up and do it. Lol.
Hope everyone else is enjoying their workouts as much as I am. Laterness.
