Some plant foods have protein in them maybe that will help you? I am struggling too. I eat meat but I’m a carb addict and recently realized that wheat is not my friend at all. Gluten-free is a learning curve.

You remained in a deficit - maybe you didn't hit your ideal macros and exceeded some, but from a nutritional standpoint, this won't make you gain weight. Everyone slips, there's always time to get back on track!

I think I need to do the same! I bought freeze-dried apple chips for my emergency snack. Now if I can just keep my husband from feeding them to our birds!!!!

On days like that, I've started adding in some real food even though it will take me out of the deficit. I just figure it will help overall with keeping cravings from going haywire and help me to maintain a longterm deficit most days

Is it really that bad to eat junk if you're still keeping your calories in check?
