Yesterdays blood sugars were strange. Morning before breakfast it was 96, had 2 cups Cream of Wheat with about 20 raisins and tsp butter at about 10:00am. couple of baby carrots until about 2:30 when I had 1 slice of 100% Whole Wheat bread with 1 tbsp peanut butter, 1 tsp margaine, & 1 tsp mayo. Fats & Oils. Worked out at the club starting at 3:30, 1/2 hour weights then 1 hour cardio keeping HR between 137 - 160. Checked my blood sugar at 6:30 and it was 130. Thought the meter was off so checked it and it checked out okay. Rechecked BS and it was 122. Had dinner @ 7:00, pot roast w/vegetables $ small salad, WW Smoothie at 8:00. Checked BS this morning and it was 87. Not sure what the spike was - will see if I can contact the Diabetes Nutritionist.
