So last night my car broke down - I think that's it for the old thing - the drivers side tire seemingly snapped off and bent the metal around the wheel well and the drivers side door. It's toast.

So that means I'm back to walking to the subway station and up/down all those stairs to get to/from work each day. That's a great thing though because I believe not doing all that is what got me into this mess in the first place. About this time last year I started driving to work every day, since then, I've actually managed to put on 20 lbs! So I guess, in that sense, my car being scrapped is a blessing in disguise despite the fact that it now takes me twice as long to get to work!
