Very proud of myself today! I met a group for lunch at Lou Malnati's pizzeria and when I got there they had ordered apps: fried zucchini and hot wings. I declined both. I also declined to order pizza and went with a traditional salad and asked to have chicken added and used a red wine vinegarette dressing. To be honest, I felt bad for the battered, deeply fried zucchini. The wings? Well they just looked greasy and as for the pizza....I can make my own verzion of pizza and be satisfied. I today off as a "rest" day from exercise and will be back at it tomorrow.
