Don't even know where to beging journaling what I ate for dinner last night. Must have been like 1500 calories, easily. Ris was delicious.
As for the other nights, I did the best I could, but I know I must be missing stuff because I feel like I gorged myself all week. It's been a great Restaurant Week, but I'm glad it's over. Tried to make good choices for the most part, but when it comes down to it, when someone else is doing the cooking, I really have no idea what I'm putting in my mouth. Not good.
As delicious as they were, I've managed to gross myself out after yesterday's meals. Amazing. When I quit smoking, it was after getting a whiff of my smoky self on a rainy day and being as disgusted as I feel right now. I've been smoke-free for almost 5 months and have never really been tempted to cheat in all this time, so maybe I can use this gross feeling to my advantage and actually change my eating habits this time.
To dos for this weekend: 1. Plan meals for the week, since I'm SO over eating out. 2. Buy groceries and backup emergency Lean Cuisines. 3. Cook whatever needs to be cooked. 4. Pack up lunches and snacks to bring to work for the week. 5. Figure out a way to eat a high-protein breakfast every morning without having to take a bunch of time to poach eggs, which seems to be the only way I like them and the only high-protein breakfast I can figure out. Ideas please!
