I work Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. I work outside in a farm, I take my 9 month old with me. It’s a job in a job! I don’t have time to journal my food, I have felt a little defeated. Yesterday, something awesome happened. One of our customers brought in a variety of sandwiches, chips, soft drinks, muffins, assorted chocolates, rice and banana pudding!! It sat on our tables all day. I had one muffin for breakfast, a turkey sandwich, no chips or drinks for lunch and me a little bit shared a banana pudding. Normally I would have grazed every time I walked but it. It’s mindfulness. Getting it in my brain that it’s not just a muffin, or half a sandwich. It’s a number. And I only get so many numbers a day.
