I don't have anyone to talk to about personal things, life problems etc, so I think I tend to eat rubbish to combat this. Is anyone else an emotional eater? I feel like I'm destroying my diet because I'm eating rubbish because I have no outlet for it all. I can't be alone in feeling like this surely?

Sounds perfectly normal to me Sammi Plenty of people to talk to here both public or private, can share with you what they do which may or may not help you.

i had major struggles with anxiety and depression so much so that i dropped out of uni. i would stress eat, and when i say eat, i mean anything not just junk food. a couple of months ago i had a fee hynotherapy sessions and the anxiety and stress eating is gone! could be something to think about x

You are not alone and lockdown isn't helping to say the least. Let alone the rubbish we eat sometimes tastes good 🙂

oh man this is the story of my life. Very unhealthy coping habits, unfortunately it leads to binges and I gain much more weight than what I'm able to lose at the end :/

we're here if you need a chat🙂 if I'm mad about something I'll eat anything that involves sugar or chocolate but if I'm stressed out I can't eat a thing...

Marissa Peer does a great diet/health hypnosis. it works. I eat too when I'm unhappy. I think everyone does.... but we support you here

Definitely not alone. When stressed I have no appetite. When feeling abit merghhh I eat like a bottomless pit.

Definitely not alone, yoyoyo weight here due to breakdown late last year, couldn't hardly eat and weight plummeted, had suspected cancer too. found it to be tablets I was on so when came off them I thought life is too short and over Christmas and January working from home I bought all the rubbish stuff when shopping, hid it from my husband and secretly stuffed myself with biscuits, pastries, jam etc and now I'm paying for it. Doctor told me to lose weight before anything can be done to help my health further. So don't worry, perhaps try to be more mindful of what you are getting in. I'm seriously thinking about online food shopping as well now. Good luck xxx

comfort eating is my issue too, no one to share the burdens of everyday life is hard to take at times hugs x
