Extra protein actually doesn't necessarily increase your muscle mass. Eating an excess of protein could be harmful. Ideally, you should try to consume 0.36 grams of protein for every pound of body weight to keep your body functioning the correct way.

How much do you weigh? 54kgs. You could easily aim for 75 to 100g of protein a day (to build lean mass the rule of thumb is a gram of protein per pound of lean bodyweight, or 2.2g per kg, which is 118 g). People overestimate their lean mass is all. Even if you are at the upper limits then you’re only getting about 475 calories from protein. You’ll need a lot of carbs and some good fats on top of that if you want to build lean mass. I need to add protein shakes to make up my requirements but you could easily get enough with eggs and milk and a balanced diet. Even if you’re vegan you’ll be able to reach your goals fairly easily. Your kidneys will be fine.
