Don't worry! One set back doesn't mean it ends! Just get back on the wagon slowly! 😁😁

I know the feeling but newly acquired weight usually comes off pretty quickly, hang in there and become even more focused. You've got this!

I know! Just hang in there, it will go down again - look what happened to me in the past couple of days! Up 1.2kg then down again.

It may be just some water weight. Do you mind sharing your strategy?

I have reduced my calories to 1800 per day.
I start with a 6km brisk walk every morning, I try and walk 2km at lunch, followed by another 6km brisk walk at night or a gym session.
Breakfast - banana smoothie
Snack - blueberries and strawberries
Lunch - salad and canned salmon
Dinner - salad and chicken or red meat or fish
Treat - mini Weis bar.
Lots of water and two coffees a day.

That sounds really good. I believe it’s just a temporary thing. I wouldn’t change anything. I also assume that’s just a sample of foods you eat. Experimenting with recipes may give you motivation to continue. What works for me is to continue eating healthy food I always used to eat but in smaller amounts.

Could it be added muscle and water not actually weight gain as such you seem so fit, keep going x

Yes, it really could be lean muscle gain! Your activity and food are perfect for development of some muscle. All good - the more muscle you develop, the faster your fat loss will be. Muscle requires a lot of energy to support it, i.e. calories
