Second journal of the day, but I was doing some thinking... I haven't made any goals since before Christmas and that may be why I am having so much trouble getting back into the swing of things lately..no direction. I mean, I know what my BIG goal is...it is 46lbs away. But I seem to do better working toward my small goals in the meantime.
So goals...I am 211 now, (BMI 34.1) I am going to shoot for 8lbs gone by valentines Day (4 weeks away). That will put me at 203, with a total weight loss of 60lbs (BMI 32.8). My wedding anniversary is March 31st (10 weeks away), so I think I will shoot for 15lbs by then..that will put me at 196 (BMI of 31.6) That will be 67lbs down and will put me just 3lbs away from losing 70 and 6lbs away from seeing that green ticker, and being 75% done with my weight loss journey.
I've got some milestones to look forward to...One-derland is only 12lbs from now...197 is me losing a 1/4 of my body weight, 186 is me going from a BMI that is still obese to just being overweight.
I have lost 19.77% of my body weight so far...when I hit 197, I will have lost 25.1%!!!!!!!!!!! I need to put this all down so that when/if I get discouraged like this again, I will be able to go back and read this and be proud of what I have accomplished.
I may end up changing to more aggressive goals later, but for right now, I'm giving myself doable and realistic goals of about 1.5lbs a week.
