I feel like I’m not losing belly fat. Like I’ve lost everywhere else except it there. Please advise

Have you tried stomach muscle firming exercises?

I’m not entirely sure what that is exactly but I’ll google. How should I do them? A workout solely dedicated to that? Cause i do ab exercises in my regular workouts

I feel the same Miqkayla. My legs are getting thinner, bum and boobs disappearing, but that tummy just stays put, haha. WHY is it that the ONE area you want to lose the most of all is the last to go? :_(

I’ve found sometimes focussing too much on abs can have a negative effect. When I work too hard on my abs specifically I find myself feeling swollen and fatter than before. I’ve had better results with movements that target other muscle groups and keeping my abs engaged while I do them. Also working in low impact cardio to boost fat burn.

But also remember we can’t spot reduce fat. Don’t feel bad if it doesn’t seem to be shifting in the areas you want it to. As you keep going, eventually it will start dropping all over your body. You’re doing great, just keep showing up.

Belly fat is the last to go. You need to persist, I lost weight everywhere but my love handles still remained. They are only starting to disappear now.

Dairy products tend to make some people hold their belly fat. I struggled with belly fat and love handles until cutting out all dairy, it all went away fairly easily after that.

There is no food or exercise that is going to make you lose fat on a particular part of your body. Working out can let you target specific muscles to grow or to avoid growing but that is it. Your genetics decide where your body likes to pack on fat first and last. The first place you pack is the last you lose and the last you pack is the first you lose. Don’t worry about the specific parts as eventually when your health is under control it will all go.
