After a full day of talking to my sister about dieting and working out, I thought I had her convinced to be my weight loss buddy. Apparently not, however, as I just found her in the kitchen baking no less than three different types of cookies. What? Oh well, it would have been nice to have an ally in the house, but it looks like that won't be happening. I'll just sit over here and eat my sliced turkey.

That is frustrating and makes it a bit harder especially someone in the house making goodies! :) Hopefully over time she'll fall into line with your example and start working with you, but if not, just know that you are doing this for yourself to make you happier and healthier. I have tried numerous times over the past few years to get my mother to my diet buddy, and she always has a million excuses as to why she can't. I've been there myself though when I've had friends trying to convince me to start with them. Just set the bar and keep hoping that by your example they will follow.
