Thx everyone! Wish I knew what to call this mish-mosh. Forgot to mention the dried plums which paired beautifully with the elegant Walla Walla syrah we had. 🍷🤦‍♂️

So it's a mashup of Carbonnade Flamande, Boeuf Borguignon with Middle Eastern spices & dried fruit. We make all of these stews separately and the combo works too. Also failed to note the usage of preserved lemon. Long & short, no rules in this kitchen!
